We tried so hard to save her, she fought so long to stay with us, but it was not meant to be.

She was laid to rest after nearly a year long effort to keep her with us. She is buried on the Stud, next to her long time partner, Deveron Duvall.

Rest In Peace Ziggy, we were privileged to have been such a big part of your life. We will miss you so much, you could never be replaced.

GUTHERZIG

Sire: Grand Flaneur (Warmblood)

The Arabian Warmblood mare, "Ziggy" is our premiere broodmare, producing the 6 full siblings D Di Caprio, Annakova, Di Maggio, La Bamba, Di Angelo and du Barrie all sired by our Anglo Arabian stallion, Deveron Duvall. Her progeny are all Champions at National level or under saddle in open competition, except the yearling, du Barrie who is unshown to date.

Ziggy herself was a Grand Champion in the showring, but it is as a broodmare that she really excels. Her progeny are all of the highest quality, have big elastic paces, and are wonderful to do anything with. Ziggy was bred by Kerry and Brian O'Sullivan, who proudly watch on as her progeny go from strength to strength. Kerry tells us that Gutherzig means "kind hearted" in German, she well lives up to her name.

DEVERON BERNADETTE

"Bernie" had a show and performance career lasting nearly a decade before she retired to stud. Her awards were countless, winning hundreds of Championships both led and ridden up to Aust. Championship level, and also in the open hack ring. Rarely she came home without at least 2 Championships to her credit. Ridden and trained by our daughter, Amanda, they were a real partnership and had a great bond between them. Bernie would perform only for Amanda, no one else, such was the tie between them.

Bernie's first foal was the Arabian Warmblood gelding, Deveron Du Pre, by the Warmblood stallion, Northern Congress. Her second foal, Deveron Benaducee, by the Anglo stallion, Penmarric Killarney is doing extremely well in the dressage arena. After only a short time out he is already chalking up some major wins and placings against some very flashy Warmbloods. Her third foal, Deveron Nightlife, by the pure arab stallion, SS City Lights, is now a 3yo and is recuperating after a fall in the paddock, some 18 months ago.

DEVERON MARIETTE

Mariette is not only a stunning looking Anglo Arabian mare, she is also endowed with the most wonderful nature, both in hand and under saddle

Mariette had a short, but successful show career, winning a number of Championships both in hand and under saddle. She was one of our "glamour girls," the trio of Bernadette, Juliette and Mariette, all made their mark on all who saw them, such was their charisma and beauty. She has had 2 foals to date, a filly by Weltmeyer and a colt by Walton.

Mariette is on lease from her owner, Jeni Clevers, and we are greatly indebted to Jeni for this opportunity.

We eagerly await her foal due mid January 2008, by the Warmblood stallion, Grande Isle.

DEVERON LA DIVA

Arabian Warmblood, very feminine, beautiful upfront mare with stunning elevated paces. With both her sire and dam having successful performance lines behind them, she is sure to produce something very special. Her dam AEA Lesca, competed up to Medium level in dressage, and was also the 1993 Victorian Warmblood Mare Winner and also 1996 AWHA Victorian Champion Mare.

Jazzmine is a valued addition to our broodmare band, being purchased from International Horse Breeders. Thank you to Glenis and Eil for giving us the opportunity of owning such a mare.

Jazzmine is sired by the internationally successful performer, Jazz, sire of Rozzie Ryan's dressage star, Jive Magic and Rachael's Sanna's GP dressage horse Chatham Park Jac. Standing at 17 hands, she is truly international quality, her powerful movement just flows and hovers above the ground. We are hopeful that she will produce some serious dressage prospects for us.

The Royal Warmblood Studbook of the Netherlands (KWPN) have proclaimed Jazz to be Horse of the Year 2006 based on his performances in the Grand Prix ring, and also on the achievement of his offspring. Interestingly on her dam's side, Jazzmine goes back to the stallion Grand Flaneur, a stallion who has played such a big part in our Arabian Warmblood breeding program.

Jazzmine is again back in foal to Deveron Di Maggio,and is due in November 08

Stunning stallion, with an elegant head, a magnificent front and a great topline. A truly modern stallion with scores of 9 from the German breeding expert Dr Ramseur for his canter and jump. With a total score of 82%, he still remains one of the highest scoring horses with ACE in Australia.

Described by Dr. Ramseur as "the ideal modern sporthorse".
