Our young stallion, Hillbreeze French Folly had his first ever outing when he was presented for classification to the respected assessor, Mr. Gerd Kust, who has been involved with the Holsteiner Verband and the ZDFP for the past 10 years. Mr Kust is a successful breeder of 30 years and has ridden in the past at the Oldenburger and Westphalian auctions.
To say Folly was on his best behaviour was an understatement, as nothing fazed this young man. He waited patiently and quietly in the float for an hour, due to the assessors running late.
With an overall score of 78.5%, he wowed us by placing 4th behind 3 IMPORTED MATURE WARMBLOOD STALLIONS ! from 30 stallions/colts presented Australia wide, including 2 other imported Warmblood stallions.
Like his sire, French Kiss, Folly has 3 sensational paces, and this showed in his scores, which were all marked at 8 or better, with an amazing 9 for Swing and Elasticity
We feel Folly has a lot to offer the performance horse/pony breeder, he is the total package, not only is he a pretty boy, but his movement is world class and his temperament could not be faulted.

Shantoozie did her owners, Kellie and Cameron James of Lailarni Stud proud, at her debut under saddle at the Pan Pacific Show.
The 4yo had barely 5 weeks in training to place 2nd in her Novice and Newcomer classes with rider Rebecca Lovett and then took youth rider, Brooke Skennerton to Top 5 in the Youth Gold Nugget event.
Toozie was also awarded Reserve Champion Arabian Warmblood Exhibit behind the Champion Meridian Poseidon who is by Poetry in Motion out of the Duvall daughter, Deveron Annakova (full sister to Di Maggio)

"Felix", as he is affectionately known to his owners, Melissa and Paul Robertson-Dixon, showed great maturity for his years, when he competed in the 5yo Young Dressage Horse Competition at Dressage With The Stars 2009 earlier this year.
From only 3 ever outings Felix qualified to compete at DWTS
His temperament and trainability showed thru on the day and his manners and training were a credit to his devoted owner and rider Melissa Robertson-Dixon, with the wonderful support of husband, Paul.

Q'LD FESTIVAL OF DRESSAGE
On the 18th July Q'ld Festival of Dressage conducted what could only be described as their most successful event held so far and it was a resounding success. With phenomenal crowds attending and the main stands overflowing, dressage enthusiasts were treated to a day and night of what dressage is all about. Included in the Festival was an exhibition of Quadrille to Music ridden by 4 riders and their horses.
The Quadrille to Music was enjoyed by everyone and upon conclusion of the presentation by riders, Danielle Dowsett, Chelsea Wood, Karen Spencer and Tammy Stephens there was a loud roar of clapping in the the arena and a standing ovation.
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO KAREN SPENCER AND HER VERY SPECIAL MARE, THE ARABIAN WARMBLOOD, BELCATA DANITA, WHO TOOK PART IN THE QUADRILLE.
Belcata Danita is shown bottom right and at right on the photo at right.
Danita possesses the most amazing temperament and it is a credit to her owner to bring this impressive 17hh mare to the level of training required to participate in such precision riding.

Tragically, Folly was taken from us on the 2nd Sept 09, in what could only be described as a loss that should not have happened.
After a search of some 10 years and 3yrs of growing him on, he was only a week away from starting his stud career.
He is survived by his only daughter, Lailarni La De Da, born 27th Dec 09.
RIP Folly, you were so special in every way, words are not enough to say how much we miss you.

Owner Jamie Portman is impressed with how Joshua has taken to eventing.
Starting out in the baby grades just recently, Joshua is now competing at Level 3. Jamie has found him to be super athletic and very keen, although a little spooky to start he is becoming more confident at each competition.
Joshua is one of Di Maggio's first foals, the other being the super trainable, Avella Di Marcello, shown further down the page.

Deveron Di Maggio continued on his winning run by taking out yet another Supreme Championship at the recently held Arabian Championships Victoria under Brazilian judge, Flavio Regis Wanderley.
Di Maggio had earlier been awarded Champion Arabian Warmblood Stallion 4 years and over, and then from a strong lineup of Derivative Stallion and Colt Champions took out the Supreme award.

Proud owners, Tanja and Ian Branson of Marshanti Arabian Performance Horses recently had a photo shoot with top photographer, Tracey Bavinton, and their outstanding Arabian Warmblood stallion, Deveron du Barrie.
As can be seen from the photo below some of the shots of du Barrie were taken at the beach with one of the photos to be featured in an upcoming Horse Deals 2011/12 calender. Tanja and Ian breed Arabian Warmbloods on their property at Mullumbimby NSW where du Barrie stands at Stud.
Du Barrie is a full brother to our own stallion, Deveron Di Maggio.

Janelle Sloane's Part Bred Arabian gelding, Devine Victoree had an amazing Melbourne Royal Show winning and placing in some hotly contested classes in what is predominently thoroughbred territory.
Devine Victoree is by Deveron Duvall and from the TB mare, Victoree Angel. His results were commendable to say the least, Janelle being his breeder and rider for the most part of his career.
Ridden by Greg Mickan he achieved the following results.

at the Yarram Agricultural Show, one of Victoria's larger Ag Shows.
Darby, as he is known at home, is owned by Karina and Adrian Damschke and was purchased while still on his dam.
Karina and Adrian were thrilled with his win and have a number of shows lined up for him including the 2012 Melbourne Summer Royal.
Congratulations guys, a wonderful start to Darbys career !!
