Formerly owned by Katie Acton of Q'land, who achieved great success with Willow in the showring, including 3 Australian Arabian Championships under saddle and Reserve Champion Elementary Dressage Horse in 2006, plus numerous Championships and High Point Youth Awards at A and AA class shows, such as the Gala Show and the Arabian Challenge. Katie and Willow have recently been named 2007 National Youth of the Year winner for Q'land.
In 2001 Willow caused quite a sensation when she achieved equal 1st place in the Australia wide ACE Group Assessment tour, with a score of 80.75%. The following day she was awarded Senior Champion Horse of the Day at the Q'land Gala Day with a score of 82%.
293 horses were put forward for classification before two international assessors, Dr. Roland Ramsauer and Mr. Gerhard Thele. In what is generally regarded as Warmblood territory, it was not surprising Willow caused some controversy as not only did she defeat many well known stallions, but many frozen semen progeny, by such stallions as Rubinstein, Rotspon, Krack C etc.
Classifiers described Willow as exactly the type of mare they were looking for to put to Warmblood stallions. Willow was awarded Premium Mare status, and is now recorded in the Oldenburger Studbook in Germany.

In Karen's own words:
"Although Danita has proven to be a very successful and versatile competition horse, this is far outweighed by her nature and
unflappable temperament.
"I have been very spoilt with Danita, and she has wrecked me for life. Once you have owned one Deveron bred horse I don't think there is any going back."

Katie and Willow had an amazing show, winning 3 Champions, l Reserve and 3 Top 10's. What is more amazing is that Willow had only come into the Actons ownership some months previously, prior to that she had spent the past few years in the broodmare paddock having foals.
