2009 ACE ASSESSMENT TOUR
Our young stallion, Hillbreeze French Folly had his first ever outing when he was presented for classification to the respected assessor, Mr. Gerd Kust, who has been involved with the Holsteiner Verband and the ZDFP for the past 10 years. Mr Kust is a successful breeder of 30 years and has ridden in the past at the Oldenburger and Westphalian auctions.
To say Folly was on his best behaviour was an understatement, as nothing fazed this young man. He waited patiently and quietly in the float for an hour, due to the assessors running late.
With an overall score of 78.5%, he wowed us by placing 4th behind 3 IMPORTED MATURE WARMBLOOD STALLIONS ! from 30 stallions/colts presented Australia wide, including 2 other imported Warmblood stallions.
Like his sire, French Kiss, Folly has 3 sensational paces, and this showed in his scores, which were all marked at 8 or better, with an amazing 9 for Swing and Elasticity
We feel Folly has a lot to offer the performance horse/pony breeder, he is the total package, not only is he a pretty boy, but his movement is world class and his temperament could not be faulted.

Shantoozie did her owners, Kellie and Cameron James of Lailarni Stud proud, at her debut under saddle at the Pan Pacific Show.
The 4yo had barely 5 weeks in training to place 2nd in her Novice and Newcomer classes with rider Rebecca Lovett and then took youth rider, Brooke Skennerton to Top 5 in the Youth Gold Nugget event.
Toozie was also awarded Reserve Champion Arabian Warmblood Exhibit behind the Champion Meridian Poseidon who is by Poetry in Motion out of the Duvall daughter, Deveron Annakova (full sister to Di Maggio)

"Felix", as he is affectionately known to his owners, Melissa and Paul Robertson-Dixon, showed great maturity for his years, when he competed in the 5yo Young Dressage Horse Competition at Dressage With The Stars 2009 earlier this year.
From only 3 ever outings Felix qualified to compete at DWTS
His temperament and trainability showed thru on the day and his manners and training were a credit to his devoted owner and rider Melissa Robertson-Dixon, with the wonderful support of husband, Paul.

Q'LD FESTIVAL OF DRESSAGE
On the 18th July Q'ld Festival of Dressage conducted what could only be described as their most successful event held so far and it was a resounding success. With phenomenal crowds attending and the main stands overflowing, dressage enthusiasts were treated to a day and night of what dressage is all about. Included in the Festival was an exhibition of Quadrille to Music ridden by 4 riders and their horses.
The Quadrille to Music was enjoyed by everyone and upon conclusion of the presentation by riders, Danielle Dowsett, Chelsea Wood, Karen Spencer and Tammy Stephens there was a loud roar of clapping in the the arena and a standing ovation.
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO KAREN SPENCER AND HER VERY SPECIAL MARE, THE ARABIAN WARMBLOOD, BELCATA DANITA, WHO TOOK PART IN THE QUADRILLE.
Belcata Danita is shown bottom right and at right on the photo below.
Danita possesses the most amazing temperament and it is a credit to her owner to bring this impressive 17hh mare to the level of training required to participate in such precision riding.
Danita is sired by the Anglo Arabian stallion DEVERON DUVALL and out of the NORTHERN CONGRESS mare NORTHERN CRYSTAL

DEVERON LA BAMBA SCOOPED THE POOL AT THE RECENT 2009 PERTH ROYAL SHOW. LA BAMBA AND HIS OWNER, SASCHA DOWSON LEFT NO STONE UNTURNED WHEN THEY COMPETED AT THEIR FIRST EVER ROYAL SHOW.
NOT CONTENT WITH WINNING CHAMPION ARABIAN DERIVATIVE GELDING, THEY WENT ON TO BE SASHED SUPREME CHAMPION ARABIAN DERIVATIVE.
TO CAP OFF THEIR SUCCESSES THEY ALSO TOOK OUT CHAMPION RIDDEN DERIVATIVE
CONGRATULATIONS MANY TIMES OVER TO SASCHA AND LA BAMBA.
