Although Anneliese Shortt has only been the owner of "Felix" for a short time, their successes together has been
a sign of great things to come in the future.
In Anna's words, she is" the so so happy new owner of Felix and I adore him."
Felix and Anna started at the top!!!! by attending both the 2012 Royal Melbourne Summer Show and Barastoc and
also the Top Teams Trophy Championships (HRCAV).
Photo above shows Anna & Felix showing their teams spoils after taking out lst place in the Top Teams Showing Championships at                                                 Geelong in January 2012.  87 teams were presented with over 348 riders competing over the two day event.

Bred by International Horse Breeders, IHB Denmark a 3yo Arabian Warmblood,  is now in the ownership of Jessica Verheij of SA.

Recently at their first show Denmark won Champion Open Breed Exhibit at the Morphett Vale All Breeds Show.

Jessica's initial intentions were to focus on eventing, but is planning on taking him to Young Horse Qualifiers that will hopefully gain them entry to Dressage With the Stars.  When he is old enough Jessica plans to start his showjumping and eventing career, which is Jessica's forte.

We wish Jessica well for the future with her beautiful young star.

DEVERON MAGGISTRATE
Deveron Di Maggio x IHB Jazzmine

Tracey Hotker also had an amazing show over in the West at the 2011 Perth Royal Show, with her 3yo Arabian Warmblood gelding, Deveron Maggistrate.  Maggistrate who is by Deveron Di Maggio, took out the Champion Combined Warmblood (same as Supreme) after winning the Warmblood Gelding 3y & under and Best Presented Warmblood.

Well respected judge, Roger Fitzhardinge was very impressed with Maggistrate, commenting on his temperament, trainability and cadence............and he was looking for a new horse !

Well done Tracey, you have earned it.
What Tracey (and Gav) have to say about Maggistrate :

"What a boy! Deveron Maggistrate (aka Junior)
has met all my expectations - tall, dark and
handsome with a real show presence, he
continues to impress with his trainability,
temperament and magnificent movement.
Junior really is the complete package!

Many thanks to Paula & Niels Hoffmann-
Madsen of Deveron Stud for producing such
a wonderful foal. They don't dilute their
breeding lines and it shows.  Junior is born
to show - Mr Casual when prepping and
waiting to go on - then comes alive when it is
his time to shine - the ultimate professional.

Before purchasing from Paula and Niels, I
researched studs across Australia and my
due diligence brought me to Deveron Stud.
The trip was worth it.  With more than 30
years experience and an emphasis on quality over quantity they offered exactly what I was looking for.  Their professional, yet friendly, relaxed and always helpful manner is reflected in the stock they produce.  Temperament is not overlooked when considering breeding lines which I think gives then an edge over some competitors as their foals have strengths in all areas and Junior is no exception.

I will be back to Deveron Stud to buy more!"

AVELLA DI MARCELLO
Deveron Di Maggio x AEA Lesca
Owner, Anneliese Shortt owner of the successful dressage horse Avella Di Marcello, reports of an amazing lesson with dressage legend, Heath Ryan.

Heath's comments on Felix, as he is known, were nothing short of astonishing, He was so taken by Felix, that he insisted on bringing photos of Di Maggio up on FB, and wanted to know if all his offspring had similar temperaments and trainability...Heath stated that Felix was a flying change machine, and with a few taps Felix was starting piaffe movements (never tried before)........ Heath couldn't believe the power that he had there waiting to be tapped into.

At the end of the lesson Heath said that he saw a lot of horses in his clinics and that rarely one popped up where he thought "wow".  Heath stated that Felix had the "wow" that he loves in a horse and that if Anneliese wanted to go all the way that this is the horse to take me there!!

Well done to Anneliese and Felix and I am sure we will be seeing them out competing FEI level tests before too long.
